- Veterinary Criticalist DACVECC at our new hospital in Tacoma/Seattle, WA
Description
Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency is seeking a veterinary Criticalist to join us in our state-of-the-art, 21,000 sqft facility in Gig Harbor, Washington.
PSVSE has a rare and exciting opportunity for you, a board-certified or board-eligible criticalist, to help develop the emergency and critical care department and help to shape the culture of a new hospital. You will have the support of our Medical Director and the existing specialties at PSVS, including surgery, internal medicine, and neurology. As our staff criticalist, in addition to clinical duties, you will mentor and lead the medical standards for the ER and ICU. An opportunity to act as the hospitalist will give you exposure to all of our interesting cases.
Our hospital includes a dedicated ICU, including long-term mechanical ventilator, high-flow oxygen unit, full in-house lab, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood-bank, fluoroscopy and interventional radiology suite, radioactive iodine therapy, minimally invasive surgery, flexible and rigid endoscopy, and more. Our technical and support staff are highly valued as critical members of the team. Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary, monthly production with no-negative accrual, along with sign-on and relocation bonuses.
