Company Profile
Los Angeles Veterinary Center
Company Overview
The Los Angeles Veterinary Center is a general practice focusing on a return to "community-based" medicine. We focus on helping people and pets by allowing our practitioners the ability and the resources to practice as they see fit. Our team members are encouraged to build on their strengths and to strengthen their weaknesses, all the time focusing on helping the pets and their owners within the community by offering the best, and sometimes most practical, approaches to medicine.
As a team member, full-time employees qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, which allows for tax-free loan forgiveness after 120 qualifying payments to your federally funded student loan.
Company History
Established in 2017, the Los Angeles Veterinary Center was created with the desire to fill the gap between the specialized practice of medicine, and the overly represented basic health approach to many general practices. Veterinary medicine has evolved significantly in the last 10 years, allowing for specialty practices to flourish, often times leaving clients with no middle ground between finding care for their pets and heavy debt. The LAVC was founded on the principle of empowering veterinarians to practice according to their comfort levels and to occasionally push beyond their comfort levels in the name of care and ending unnecessary benign neglect.
Practicing good medicine speaks for itself. Financial success follows the practice of good medicine.
