Sunshine Coast Vets Pomona are seeking a PT or FT experienced small animal veterinarian for their Pomona (Sunshine Coast) surgery.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced veterinarian who can assimilate seamlessly into our practice, take over the caseload with professionalism, and quickly become part of our team. The current weekly arrangements are 3 ½ consecutive days on and 3 ½ consecutive days off, but this is flexible to suit the right candidate. You will be:
- Delivering outstanding and personal veterinary care to our clients and patients
- Treating and managing interesting medical and surgical cases
- Contributing to and leading a highly experienced and devoted team
- Empowering our exceptional nursing team to work to their highest level of capability
- Collaborating with our management team to grow the business to its full potential
- Showing a strong commitment to the practice and local community.
About Us:
Our practice has been established on the Sunshine Coast, in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland, for fifteen years, servicing the clientele of Pomona and surrounds.
We are a part of the community and value our clients and their pets as our friends and family. We have similarly strong relationships within our practice, and our very experienced staff swear it is the best surgery they have ever worked in!
After ten years with the same two experienced veterinarians, one of our vets is leaving to travel, creating a vacancy for a very special small animal veterinarian to take his place. The two veterinarians are supported by a staff of eleven, who are highly-skilled, emotionally intelligent and empowered to excel in their roles. This allows the veterinarians to be strategic in their treatment and case management and focus on their reason for being. The veterinarians are also supported in their practice by regular visits from an advanced veterinary surgeon for complex orthopaedic cases and a mobile sonographer.
We have all the expected medical and surgical facilities, digital x-ray, iM3 dental suite and full in-house laboratory and pathology. However, what sets us apart is our community, our exceptional team and our commitment to well-being and lifestyle.
About Pomona:
Pomona is located in the Shire of Noosa, Queensland, Australia in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland region. It is about 135 kilometres north of Brisbane and was originally called Pinbarren Siding in the late 1800s. It is supported by state and private primary and high schools and pre-schools in the Noosa District and is accessible by the train and bus network. Pomona is known for its cafes, a country pub, a distillery, art galleries, markets, the Noosa Shire Museum and proximity to the Noosa Trail Network and the world-renowned beaches around Noosa.
