Reporting to the Department Chair and working closely with the Foundational Sciences and Clinical Skills Lead, the Large Animal Internal Medicine Faculty will:
• Create and deliver the large animal medicine curriculum in the team-taught systems-based courses in the curriculum
• Develop assessment strategies in alignment with the overall competency-based curriculum
• Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure integration of knowledge and skills across years and courses
• Actively and effectively engage in student-centered instruction, coaching, and mentorship
• Collaborate closely with the Clemson University Ambulatory practice
• Serve on PCVM and campus committees as appointed or elected
Additionally, the faculty member must have the ability to:

• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and function independently with limited supervision and guidance
• Work in partnership with faculty and staff across multiple disciplines and functions across the college and university
• Participate in research and scholarship initiatives designed to improve educational and professional outcomes
• Demonstrate a commitment to the core values of Clemson University and specifically to community, engagement, belonging and accessibility (CEBA)
