Lincoln Memorial University is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician – Clinical Skills to support hands-on learning within the College of Veterinary Medicine at our Orange Park, Florida campus.
This role is ideal for a veterinary technician who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting future veterinarians in a structured, clinical learning environment.
Structure & Responsibilities
The Veterinary Technician for Clinical Skills will work closely with faculty and students to support clinical laboratories and course activities. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of clinical skills labs
Maintaining, cleaning, and organizing laboratory equipment and materials
Supporting instruction and demonstration of clinical techniques under the supervision of a veterinarian
Assisting with student assessment, including participation in OSCEs and practical exams
Ensuring a safe, organized, and risk-reduced learning environment
Supporting day-to-day operations of clinical teaching spaces
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
Associate (A.S./A.A.S.) or Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in Veterinary Technology
Eligible for licensure through the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in veterinary clinical practice or academic settings
Familiarity with veterinary medical education environments
Understanding of university program goals and clinical training standards
