Pacific Animal Hospital is looking for individuals like you to join our Client Care Team!Pacific Animal Hospital is a general practice in Oceanside that was established more than 30 years ago. Our Client Care Team are the “first faces” of a pet’s visit to the hospital and we understand just how important this role is to the success of our hospital.
In this role, you’ll support pet parents, help keep appointments running smoothly, and contribute to a positive experience for every client and patient. The ideal candidate is empathetic, dependable, and communicates clearly and professionally in person, on the phone, and online.
Shifts: Full time, 8 or 10 hour shifts available.
Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, making everyone feel valued and comfortable
- Schedule and manage appointments efficiently to keep the clinic running smoothly
- Communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone and online
- Handle client inquiries and concerns with empathy, patience and professionalism
- Support the veterinary team by maintaining a welcoming and organized front desk environment
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine love for pets and the people who care for them
- Veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Dependable, punctual and consistently positive attitude
- Ability to stay calm, composed and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to creating a welcoming, professional and caring client experience

Compensation: negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $18-22/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
