We’re looking for a skilled technical assessor with a strong background in veterinary or animal sciences to join our Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) team.

In this role, you’ll evaluate scientific data, prepare regulatory reports, and help ensure the safe and effective use of veterinary medicines under the ACVM Act 1997.

You’ll also contribute to policy development, standards, guidance, and wider programme work that supports our regulatory system.

You’ll bring analytical strength, strong communication skills, sound scientific judgement, and an interest in contributing to meaningful outcomes for Aotearoa’s primary industries. Experience in regulatory environments or largeanimal practice is a bonus, but not essential.
