Description
Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a dependable, compassionate, and skilled Relief Veterinarian to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for veterinarians looking for a flexible schedule while working with a professional and welcoming team. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. Our dedicated staff consists of a team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We all work together to offer compassionate and superior care to our clients and their companions! We have a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility, on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, IDEXX diagnostic equipment, as well as a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy.
Relief Veterinarian

$115.00 - $135.00 an hour
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for small animals
- Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests including radiographs and lab results
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about diagnoses and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
REQUIREMENTS
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
- A current ME Veterinary License
- Previous experience in a small animal practice preferred
- Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to different workflows and clinic systems
