Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Veterinary Technician at Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic. The Registered Veterinary Technician will be responsible for assisting with animal care, veterinary technology procedures, client education, anesthesiology support, and overall pet care activities.
- The Registered Veterinary Technician role requires a 32–40-hour workweek. Working some Saturday mornings (one a month) and a weekday evening shift may be required (we are open 8am-noon on Saturdays and until 7 pm on Tuesdays).

- The Veterinary Technician role encompasses skill sets which include, but are not limited to: Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, assisting in physical examinations and patient assessment, surgical preparation and assisting, patient recovery, dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy protocols, providing compassionate care for our hospitalized patients, inventory restocking, and medical data entry.

Qualifications
- Certification/Licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) is required (or a Provisional Registration currently in the process of completing accreditation)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Client education expertise
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
