Description
Looking for a mixed veterinary locum cover 2- 4 weeks anytime between now - end May. No specific dates as I'll plan my weekend or two off around you!
70% small animals, 20% cattle, 10 % equine (or smallies only if you desire). Bonus if you have ACVA Tail tags. This can vary depending on the time of you you come. Calving season aug- oct so an increase of cattle work can be noted this time of year. Equine work clusters sept- jan.
Where: Maranoa Veterinary Surgery, Roma, Qld
Roma was voted #1 tourism town in QLD 2024 so there is plenty to do when your not working= visit the largest cattle selling complex in the southern hemisphere, see the Big Rig Tree Top walk and viewing tower, museums, pubs, sporting activities, a gin distillery, Moorelands Bush Nursery, Easter in the Country Festival, rodeos, music festivals and more.
There is a rostered nurse on call with you (you choose how much on call do desire, so long as I get a weekend and a few days off, all good). On call is light, although Easter can get busy.
Accommodation and work ute provided.
