Situated in the heart of the Texas hill country, Blanco Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned mixed animal veterinary clinic in a small, charming community less than 1 hour to Austin or San Antonio. We are currently a 3 doctor practice looking to replace a doctor moving away. Our species breakdown is as follows: 75% canine/feline, 25% bovine/equine/small ruminant/other. We have a certified veterinary technician dedicated per doctor as well as two veterinary assistants as floaters. Our Schedule is Monday-Friday 8-5 with a lunch break, and rotating Saturdays 8-noon (you work the Saturday of the week you're on call). We have an on-call after hours rotating schedule between the 3 doctors (we typically see 1-3 after hours per week). We see farm calls on a scheduled and emergency basis. We have a full suite of diagnostics at your disposal. Small animal GE ultrasound with all the probes, large animal reproductive ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiography, a combination of Antech/Idexx in-house blood machines, and an Imagyst analyzer for urine/fecals. We have a fully equipped surgery suite and offer a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries to our clients. We pride ourselves on staying up to date with the latest diagnostics and treatments available to our patients. We hire for culture and prioritize a healthy working environment! Salary starting at 90k annually for new graduates with 20% pro-sal. Higher salary for more experienced veterinarians.
