Description
Thomas Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our independent, 2 doctor, small animal practice. Our hospital has been proudly serving the Pinellas Park, FL community for 39 years. We have a well established client base and our team is dedicated to offering exceptional, personalized care to our patients and clients. Our support staff is experienced and loved by our clients. Most of our receptionists and technicians have been with us for over a decade. If you want to get away from corporate medicine and enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere while practicing high quality veterinary medicine then this is the job you have been looking for. New graduates welcome.
Our office is open Monday through Friday. Patients are seen from from 8:30 - 5pm with a 2 hour mid day break for lunch, call backs, and catching up on records. Each doctor gets one afternoon off per week. We have multiple, excellent 24 hour ER's in our area so we have no after hours emergencies or on call hours. Our location in Pinellas county allows collaboration with several excellent specialty practices for referral when necessary. We also have a relationship with a board certified internist that visits our hospital.

Requirements:
- DVM or VMD
- Florida license
- DEA license or eligible to obtain
- Good communication skills
- USDA accreditation preferred but not required
