Thrive San AntonioEmergency Veterinarian with 3-5 years of experience
About You
You’ll provide excellent, in-the-moment care when patients need it most. You’ll hone your ability to triage and assess critical needs - with a team to back you with support and lean on our community to shift in schedule or role. You will contribute to:

About the Hospital
Thrive San Antonio is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital with a 30-year history in the community. We are the second ER facility to obtain Fear-free certification in the Country. The hospital is equipped with complete blood work capabilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, MRI, hemoperfusion, ventilator, and linear accelerator. We currently have specialty services including critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery and radiation oncology with diagnostic imaging starting in Fall of 2026. We have an established staff with low turnover in our DVM population. Our teams enjoy mentorship with new graduates and have provided an emergency veterinary internship for over 10 years

Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required with 3-5 years of ER DVM experience
- State Veterinary Board License:
- Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
- Obtained prior to start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
- Experience in emergency medicine including work experience, small animal rotating or emergency internships is strongly recommended.
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL model, with a sign-on bonus and relocation allowance if applicable. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
