We’re seeking an Associate Veterinarian for maternity leave coverage starting June 1, 2025. Opportunity to stay on full-time after the maternity term if it’s a good fit.
About Us
Weste Animal Hospital is an independently owned, small animal practice in Lawrencetown—30 minutes from Halifax/Dartmouth and minutes from Nova Scotia’s most beautiful beaches. Our recently renovated clinic is bright, spacious, and fully equipped. Our five experienced veterinarians enjoy collaborating on surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, and dermatology. We value teamwork, mentorship, and a positive, fun workplace.
The Role
Start: June 1, 2026
Schedule: 4 days/week, no weekends
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with regular lunch breaks
Caseload: Wellness, medicine, surgery, dentistry, client education
Support: Experienced RVTs, assistants, and reception staff
