Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for companion pets and exotics?  So are we! At Sunshine Animal Hospital we have been serving Springfield Missouri and the surrounding areas for more than 30 years. We are seeking one or two full/part-time associates to join our team. Our hospital offers a wide range of services including surgery, ultrasound, digital radiographs, a complete Abaxis laboratory, and therapy laser. We are state licensed for wildlife rehabilitation and have a supportive staff to work with multiple veterinarians. Daily Responsibilities

•  Provide high-quality care for companion pets and exotics
•  Perform surgeries, ultrasounds, digital radiographs, and therapy laser treatments
•  Utilize Covetrus Pulse cloud-based software and tablets for appointments
•  Collaborate with support staff and veterinarians on patient cases
•  Participate in wildlife rehabilitation for small mammals, reptiles, and marsupials

Required Skills

•  Experience in small animal care and preventive care
•  Proficiency in digital radiography and dental prophylaxis
•  Ability to perform anesthesia, endoscopy, and emergency care

Requirements

Active veterinary license in Missouri or the ability to gain one quickly upon employment. some exotic species knowledge appreciated but not required, ability to move to Springfield or within driving distance
